1. Service Description

ApplicationEditing.com provides professional editing services for medical school application materials, including but not limited to personal statements, secondary essays, activity descriptions, and other application documents.

2. Account Registration

To use our services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized account access

3. Service Process

Ordering

• Select the appropriate service for your document type
• Upload your document(s) during checkout or through your dashboard
• Provide any special instructions or focus areas for the edit
• Complete payment to begin the editing process

Turnaround Times

• Standard Delivery: Within 48 hours of document submission
• Expedited Delivery: Within 24 hours of document submission

Turnaround times begin when we receive your complete document(s). Expedited services are subject to availability and additional fees.

Revisions

Revisions allow you to request additional changes after receiving your edited document. The number of revisions included depends on your service tier:

• Touch Up: 1 revision included
• Enhance: 2 revisions included
• Transform: 3 revisions included

Revision requests must be submitted within 14 days of receiving your edited document. Additional revisions beyond your tier allowance may be purchased.

4. Payment Terms

• All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD)
• Payment is processed securely through Stripe
• Payment is required at the time of order placement
• Gift cards and vouchers may be applied at checkout
• Promotional codes are subject to their specific terms and conditions

5. Refund Policy

• Partial refunds considered on a case-by-case basis for orders in progress
• No refunds after delivery (use your included revisions instead)

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain full ownership of all content you submit. Our edits and suggestions become part of your document upon delivery.

Sample Usage: With your explicit consent, we may use anonymized excerpts of before/after edits as portfolio samples. You will never be identified without your permission, and you may decline sample usage without affecting service quality.

Our Content: All website content, branding, and proprietary materials remain the property of ApplicationEditing.com.

7. Confidentiality

We treat all client documents and information as strictly confidential. Your application materials are:

• Accessible only to assigned editors and essential staff
• Never shared with third parties without your consent
• Stored securely with appropriate access controls
• Deleted according to our data retention policy

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to use our services to:

• Submit work written by others (including AI-generated content) as your own
• Violate your target institution's application or academic integrity policies
• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other user accounts
• Interfere with the proper functioning of our website
• Engage in any fraudulent or deceptive activities
• Resell or redistribute our services without authorization

NO ADMISSION GUARANTEES: While our services are designed to strengthen your application materials, we cannot and do not guarantee admission to any medical school or program. Admission decisions are made solely by the institutions to which you apply and depend on many factors beyond the quality of your writing.

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that our services will meet your specific requirements or expectations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApplicationEditing.com and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use or inability to use our services
• Any admission decisions by medical schools or other institutions
• Any errors or omissions in our editing services
• Unauthorized access to your account or data

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

13. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Arbitration: Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules. The arbitration shall take place in Pennsylvania, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to our services at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms
• Abusive behavior toward our staff
• Fraudulent payment activity
• Extended account inactivity

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Termination does not affect any outstanding payment obligations.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent website notice. Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
